Configuring the
Internal Parallel SCSI
Ta p e Drive
The factory-set default configuration of the internal parallel SCSI LTO-4
(Model B) Half-Height Tape Drive is:
• SCSI ID: 6
• Terminator power: enabled
Configuring the Internal Drive Parallel SCSI ID
Each device on the parallel SCSI bus must have its own unique SCSI ID.
Use SCSI configuration jumper pins 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, and 7–8 on the drive
serial-attached SCSI (SAS), there is no need to configure the
SCSI ID or bus termination, as SAS
is a point-to-point architecture.
