The system log allows you so sort the following types of log entries

displayed:

• Hardware Information - Informational events are for informational

purposes only and do not require any intervention on the DX-Series

system such as the commencement of a hard drive rebuild.

• Hardware Warning - Warning events indicate that a possible error

condition is imminent. These events may require attention, and give

the user a chance to check the system before a failure occurs.

• Hardware Error - Error events indicate a failure within the DX-Series

system such as a hard drive failure. Immediate attention is required.

• Library Activity - Library Activity indicates a change within the DX-

Series system such as the recognition of new tape media.

Select the system log type(s) and click Apply to display the list.
