Following is a brief description of chapter contents.
• Chapter 1, Library Description provides an overview of the
procedures to get your library up and running.
• Chapter 2, Basic Library Operations provides an overview of the
library and orients the operator or field service engineer to the
numbering conventions for slots and tape drives.
• Chapter 3, Quantum PX720 Remote Management provides an
overview of the library GUI and introduces the operator to the basic
procedures for placing the library on line.
• Chapter 4, Troubleshooting discusses problems you may encounter
during the setup and operation of the PX720 library.
• The Appendixes provide library specifications, relocation and
repacking instructions, automatic drive cleaning instructions, laser
regulations, regulatory statements, and event reporting.
