A.5 Loading a Data Cartridge

To load a data cartridge, follow these steps:

1. Insert the cartridge into the front of the tape drive, as shown in Figure A-7.

2. Push the cartridge fully into the tape drive.

The Drive Status LED blinks to show that the tape is loading. When the tape

reaches the BOT marker, the LED lights steadily. The tape is now ready for

use.
