Turbo Batteries
Create A Small Portable Flash System
Use a Turbo Compact as a power source and platform for a
Qflash T5d/FreeXWire combination. Perfect for back-lighting a
subject or place in a balcony to light a dark area.
Turbo AC
Turbo
®
Power Without Recharging
Turbo AC supplies continuous power anywhere in the world… from 100 - 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The only
other thing you need is an AC (Mains) outlet.
Use it with most popular digital cameras, from
prosumer point-and-shoot to dSLR. Or use it with
a portable strobe, whether Qflash, shoe mount, or
handle mount. Or both camera and flash at the same
time, via two separate outlets.
Auto-sensing technology assures that the proper voltage
will be delivered to camera and flash individually and
independently, regardless of the mains voltage.
Features and Benefits of the
Turbo AC
Shoot uninterrupted with the Turbo AC – there’s no
worry about power interruptions corrupting data transfers
from camera to memory card, since power is constant.
In the studio use the Turbo AC to power a small accent
light, such as a Qflash with a snoot attachment, in place
of a less versatile AC slave unit. Or use it to power a
bounced fill (“room”) light positioned in the upper
corner of a room, or a soft light with softbox or
umbrella attached.
Just connect the Turbo AC to the camera using
Quantum’s XDC or YDC series cables and you’re
connected to a constant, reliable supply of
voltage-regulated power.
Power shoe- and handle-mount flashes with Quantum’s
standard C series flash cables (6' long) or CC series short
flash cables (for mounting under camera or bracket).
Use the Turbo AC with any Quantum Qflash, from the
earliest models to the latest Qflash Digital series.
